Alternative dispute resolution allows consumers to seek the resolution of disputes with suppliers of goods or service providers through official, independent and impartial entities, without having to immediately resort to the courts.
The procedure may include mediation, conciliation or arbitration and is generally simpler, faster and less expensive than court proceedings.
